Terry Moore, MPH, is Westat’s Vice President of Innovation and Quality where she oversees strategic program and project management excellence and quality, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and programs for our clients.
Prior to joining Westat, Moore has directed business development and strategy, and led teams of health services researchers in delivering high-quality research services to federal clients, including the AHRQ and CMS.
Moore’s research focus has been on improving lives for older adults through assessment of nursing home quality, and through the development of quality measures for long-term and post-acute care settings. She has worked across many types of projects, including mixed-methods evaluations, program implementations, and projects involving the engagement of community partners.
Moore has extensive experience in both the public and private sector having served as senior vice president at Westat Insight (now Westat), Vice President of Domestic Health Policy at Abt Associates, and as a nurse consultant and health insurance specialist for the HCFA (now CMS). She is a fellow of the Gerontological Society of America.
