Overview

Kathleen Robergeau-Hunt is a Principal Research Associate for Clinical Research with more than 25 years of experience as a project manager organizing, conducting, and monitoring clinical studies for work sponsored by NIH, CDC, VA, and commercial clients. She manages budgets and the day-to-day activities of project staff, coordinates site visit schedules, leads client and internal team meetings, and trains new clinical research associates (CRAs). She reviews deliverables and CRAs’ site visit reports, serves as a resource for project staff and the sites, and is Westat’s representative on various project committees and protocol teams. She provides sub-awardee administration and monitoring to multiple CEAL Regional Teams in their community-engaged research initiatives, ensures that teams reach their project milestones, and provides recommendations when barriers arise. She leads several in-house work groups, including those targeted to continuous improvement, continuing staff education, and operating procedures.

Robergeau-Hunt has conducted domestic and international site visits for CDC-sponsored projects and has worked on a number of other projects monitoring oncology and HIV trials. Previously, she performed similar duties for the Contraceptive Research and Development Program, the American College of Physicians, and the American Society of Internal Medicine. Robergeau-Hunt has worked extensively with Oracle Clinical and Medidata and is fluent in French.
