Overview

Jill Feldman, PhD, is a Principal Research Associate with more than 20 years of experience designing and managing large-scale social science research and evaluation projects. She is an expert in research design, program evaluation, culturally responsive practices, instrument development, fidelity measurement, technical assistance, and professional learning. Feldman directs mixed-methods evaluation projects, including AT&T’s Connected Learning and NIH’s flagship investment in K-12 STEM education, and rigorous impact evaluations, including the University System of Maryland’s Mathematics Reform Initiative, obesity prevention initiatives in North Carolina childcare centers, and a multistate evaluation of the Healthy Schools Program. Feldman provides technical assistance to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM, including as a member of the NSF INCLUDES Technical Assistance and Coordination Hub leadership teams. Earlier in her career, Feldman held positions at organizations including Research for Better Schools, Temple University, and the Education Testing Service. She is a What Works Clearinghouse reviewer and holds certificates in IES/NCES Cluster Randomized Trials and Quasi-Experimental Design and Analysis in Education from the Institute of Policy Research. She is an author of numerous publications, and frequently participates in and presents at professional meetings and conferences.
