Overview

Glynis Jones is a Principal Research Associate for Public Health. She is a strategic communications professional with 20 years of experience in project management, marketing, and partner engagement. She excels at leadership, fostering a collaborative environment, and making thoughtful decisions that enhance project outcomes.

Her approach to communications programs has been instrumental in achieving results for her clients. Her multifaceted communications projects span a variety of federal clients, including, CDC, AHRQ, CMS, and SAMHSA. For CDC’s Let’s Stop HIV Together Ambassador initiative, Jones crafted comprehensive Ambassador programs, to guide the recruitment, selection, seamless onboarding, and robust action plan development for both Community and Clinical Ambassadors. The Ambassador programs received a Division of HIV Prevention Award for Excellence in Partnering, for the work of the 2022-23 cohorts.

As project director for NHLBI’s The Heart Truth®, she oversees crucial management tasks for national health awareness observances, health education initiatives, advancement of partnerships, and messaging and materials development.

Jones previously managed the Healthy Hearts Network, a network of more than 40 federal, national, and regional public and private sector organizations committed to the mission of the program and influencing diverse audiences.
