Eric Jodts, MA, is a Vice President of Westat’s Research Operations Services, with more than 2 decades of experience directing sophisticated research projects and initiatives. He is an expert in designing and managing multimode research projects with dozens of projects executed under his guidance. He regularly designs and conducts methodologic work involving questionnaire and sample design, the impact of technological change on surveys, and the examination of incentive, invitation, and mode effects.
His current work includes directing several projects for clients such as NASA, FAA, and NSF. He leads teams of survey methodologists, statisticians, analysts, operations managers, and technical staff to achieve project goals. Jodts also takes the lead in obtaining IRB, OMB, and ATO approvals.
Jodts has extensive experience managing and conducting site visits, panels and workshops, cognitive interviews, pretests, and complex large-scale data collections. He has presented the results of his research at professional conferences around the world.
