Elizabeth Taylor is a Lead Research Associate for Public Health with 10 years of experience planning, implementing, and evaluating maternal and child health programs, specifically those that serve individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. Her areas of expertise include program evaluation, mixed-methods research and evaluation, and qualitative data collection and analysis with a focus on increasing access to health care services. She is the Deputy Director for the evaluation of Maternal and Child Health Bureau’s (MCHB’s) Autism CARES Initiative.
Taylor has extensive experience in interdisciplinary clinical programs, including directing a program serving families affected by autism and providing continuing education and technical assistance to build capacity among the workforce of individuals on the autism spectrum. She was a senior evaluator at the University of Alabama School of Public Health, conducting mixed-methods research and program evaluation alongside state agencies, local programs, and other clinical enterprises in Alabama.
