Elizabeth Rowley, DrPH, is a Principal Statistical Associate for Clinical Research with 19 years of experience specializing in biostatistical design, analysis, and reporting of observational studies. She is a biostatistician who recognizes the vital role of effective communication in producing meaningful and pragmatic analytic results. She offers experience in logistic regression, correlated data techniques, survival analysis, competing risks regression, Bayesian model averaging, graphical summaries, and randomization schemes, among other methodologies. Working closely with the CDC on the VIrtual SARS-CoV-2 Influenza and Other respiratory viruses Network Studies of COVID-19 VE (VISION) as Data QC & Analytics Co-Lead, she was integral to developing a statistical analysis pipeline to rapidly analyze biweekly data deliveries of real-world data from health systems. She was also responsible for statistical analysis planning and investigating analytic options through simulation studies.
Since joining the Westat staff in April 2019, she has contributed to NIEHS–sponsored environmental risk factor research. In addition to vaccine studies, Rowley has previously successfully collaborated with researchers at all different levels of their careers and with diverse statistical backgrounds working in the areas of diabetes, obesity, and oncology research.
