Breanna Wakar is a Senior Research Associate for Education Studies. She has experience in data analysis and policy research with skills in cleaning, editing, tabulating, and analyzing data and translating analysis results into clear, easy-to-read reports. She has expertise in a variety of statistical methods and is proficient using statistical packages and analytic software such as SAS, R, Stata, and SPSS, plus experience with complex and large data files.
Wakar is an expert in examining NSF’s Merit Review process using administrative data. She has also contributed to several studies for USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service, including analyzing the diet quality of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) participants. She leads tasks by writing analysis plans and programming specifications, reviewing analysis code and written reports, and presenting results to clients.
