Westat has been recognized as one of the Forbes 2023 Best Employers for Women, an annual ranking of companies that identifies firms valued most by female workers. Employers on the list have been identified in an independent survey from a sample of more than 60,000 U.S. employees working for companies employing at least 1,000 people within the U.S. The sample included more than 40,000 women. Four hundred companies made the cut this year for the award; Westat is listed in the industry category of Professional Services.
The survey is a representative sample of the U.S. workforce and is based on general workforce topics, topics relevant to women, indirect recommendations provided by women on employers in their specific industry, and diversity among top executives and board.
