The Center to Improve Program and Project Performance (CIPP-4) at Westat developed a new interactive data visualization toolkit for the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) grantees. The interactive Data Visualization: Bringing Your Evaluation Results to Life tool takes a deep dive into specific types of visualizations that can be created with data commonly collected through OSEP-funded projects and provides step-by-step instructions for creating each visualization.
“Data visualization allows project leaders and evaluators to engage audiences and highlight their achievements in new and exciting ways,” explains Jill Lammert, PhD, a Westat Associate Director for Education Studies and CIPP Project Director.
Westat has held the CIPP contract since 2008 and supports OSEP grantees and staff to improve the way they evaluate project performance with the goal of improving outcomes for students and families
