Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Selects Westat as a Research, Measurement, Assessment, Design, and Analysis (RMADA) 2 Contractor
January 31, 2020
Reducing program expenditures; enhancing the quality of care for Medicare, Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program, and uninsured beneficiaries; and aligning payment systems with value-based health care is the key mission of CMS. The RMADA 2 contract vehicle helps the agency achieve this mission. Westat is one of 20 prime contractors selected that will compete on task orders covering a range of activities, including model implementation and monitoring, development of learning systems, technical support, health care data analytics, designing and conducting primary data collection and surveys, and program evaluations.
“We are honored to continue supporting CMS,” noted Lois Olinger, a Westat Vice President and project director for RMADA 2. “We recognize the significance of this award and the tremendous opportunity it offers to help CMS enhance the quality of health care for U.S. citizens.”
