Elizabeth Taylor

Overview

Elizabeth Taylor is a Lead Research Associate for Public Health with 10 years of experience planning, implementing, and evaluating maternal and child health programs, specifically those that serve individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. Her areas of expertise include program evaluation, mixed-methods research and evaluation, and qualitative data collection and analysis with a focus on increasing access to health care services for vulnerable populations through workforce development and capacity-building initiatives. 

She is the Project Director for the Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB)-funded Maternal Health Research Collaborative for Minority Serving Institutions and Deputy Director for the evaluation of MCHB’s Autism CARES Initiative. She also serves as a lead evaluator for the MCHB-funded Evaluability Assessment for the Regional Pediatric Pandemic Network and supports the MCHB Collaborative Healthy Equity Measurement project.

Taylor has extensive experience in interdisciplinary clinical programs, including directing a program serving families affected by autism and providing continuing education and technical assistance to build capacity among the workforce of individuals on the autism spectrum. She was a senior evaluator at the University of Alabama School of Public Health, conducting mixed-methods research and program evaluation alongside state agencies, local programs, and other clinical enterprises serving the maternal and child health population in Alabama.
