Thomas Nominated for White House Rising Leaders Summit

Chantil Thomas, MA, a Westat lead research associate, has been nominated to attend the White House Rising Leaders Summit: Shaping the Future of HIV Today on July 31, 2024, in Washington, D.C. This nomination recognizes Thomas’ significant contributions as an emerging leader in the field of HIV prevention, care, and treatment. Her participation will play a crucial role in shaping meaningful discussions and outcomes at the summit. 

This summit aims to inspire the next generation of diverse leaders who are dedicated to accelerating efforts to end the HIV epidemic in the country. The summit’s agenda will focus on innovative approaches in HIV testing, prevention, care, treatment, and education, and will explore effective strategies to foster and maintain leadership within these communities.
