Sherelle Foust is a Senior Research Associate and technical assistance provider for Education Studies with more than 20 years of experience in public education. She uses her public education expertise as a project lead and effective instruction portfolio manager of a comprehensive center, funded by ED. She works directly with state education agencies (SEAs) and districts to build capacity for policy and program creation and implementation, data collection and analysis, and strategic planning.
Foust is an expert in managing postsecondary programming, demonstrated by creating universal products for the Equity Assistance Center-South, leading state projects centered on college and career readiness, and advancing student opportunities in Advanced Placement and Dual Credit in the 7th-largest school district in the nation. She has broad expertise in teacher recruitment and selection and teacher pipelines, with experience managing teacher recruitment, serving as a partner and facilitator with ED through its Teach to Lead Program, and collaborating on a multistate Registered Teacher Apprentice Program (R-TAP) suite of products.
Foust contributes to the National Comprehensive Center through Working Groups, collaborating with multiple regional comprehensive centers to produce products for various educator audiences to increase student academic outcomes. Throughout her career, she has contributed to technical reports, innovated products for educators, families, and students, and participated in conference presentations.
