Westat on Washington Technology’s 2019 Top 100 Government Contractors List

Westat ranks #86 on Washington Technology’s Top 100 list for 2019. The list ranks the largest government contractors based on their previous year’s prime contracts in IT, systems integration, professional services, and telecommunications as reported in the Federal Procurement Data System. The 2019 Top 100 companies captured a total of $115.4 billion, up from 2018’s $105.3 billion.

In his article, Changes show up in 2019 Top 100 with more to come, Nick Wakeman of Washington Technology, reports that they “expect fiscal 2019 spending, which will dictate the 2020 Top 100, to remain strong” but the deciding factor will be a smooth budget process in the federal sphere. Recent increases in both civilian and defense spending have created growth for many companies on the list.
